Nice Bachelorette Party Games
Nice Bachelorette Party Games
Bachelorette parties are great fun for all the bride’s friends and female family members to plan. Hundreds of ideas exist about what to do to make the party extra special, from the super sexy to the innocently classy side. When a bachelorette party or wedding shower will include people of all ages, from grandmothers to little children, it is best to include party games that focus on good clean fun.
Let your guests express their poetic sides by playing a game that matches cards on words to create hilarious poems and rhymes. Use index cards to play. Write romantic themed words on half the cards: roses, cuddles, love and kisses. On the other half, write very non-romantic options: laundry, earwax, oil changes and tissues. Guests can draw one card from each pile and create a silly poem based on the crazy mismatched words they chose. “Roses are red, violets are blue, your cuddles are sweet, but earwax is eww!”
Grab bags and guessing games make for fun, clean bachelorette party events too. Put a number of items in a paper or fabric bag and let guests try to identify them by feel alone. Whoever guesses the most correctly wins the entire contents of the bag or some other prize. These can be themed items like male-oriented goods such as shoe polish, razor, and tire air gauge.
If you have more room or time for the celebration with the bride, consider organizing a scavenger hunt. This can be done many ways. First, the classic type is to have teams or individuals hunt for actual items on a list. These can include a certain color pen, an accessory someone might be wearing, or things in the room they can pick up temporarily. Another option includes using cameras to get pictures of certain things, like someone hugging a lamppost or someone walking like John Wayne down the street.
Another type of scavenger hunt is a great way for guests to get to know each other better. It involves a little homework before hand to get some interesting tidbits of information from all the guests. Make a list of facts about everyone on a paper and direct the guests to find out which other guest matches with fact. This gets everyone talking so they can bond together as a new family and friends unit for the bride.
Any type of icebreaker game is great for bachelorette parties too. Innocent versions of truth and dare can work, and bring back memories of childhood sleepover parties to all the women attending the event. Consider playing “I never….” In this game, one woman says “I never” and completes the sentence with something she has never done. If any woman at the party has in fact done that thing, they get a point on their scorecard. You can play it so the person with the most points or least points at the end is the winner. Some options include: lied about my age, got a speeding ticket, locked myself out of my car and gone on a blind date.
Nice bachelorette games should be about fun for all ages and getting to know each other. The bride wants that day to be special and memorable for all involved. Think up some fun games that people of all ages can do and everyone will have fun.
